UGANDA is a country in East Africa also known as the Pearl of Africa. It is bordered by Kenya in the East, South Sudan in the North, Democratic Republic of Congo in the West, Rwanda and Tanzania in the South. Uganda bares the source of River Nile, the longest river in the world. The climate and weather in Uganda are very conducive that it generally receives reliable rainfall in the years and temperature of 16˚c to 28˚c averagely throughout the year hence its major economic activity being Agriculture. The people of Uganda are very hospitable, friendly and welcoming. Uganda is endowed with various tourist attractions which include 10 national parks, 12 game reserves, lakes and rivers, culture, food, economic activities among others. Therefore, Uganda is proud to host you on its fertile soils.

DAY 1

Arrival at Entebbe international airport, our guide will be ready to receive you and drop you off at the hotel.

 After everyone has settled in at the hotel, you will be served and after we shall have a briefing of how the safari will be conducted.

DAY 2

QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK.

Queen Elizabeth National Park contains evidence of a fabulous setting on the rift valley floor, surrounded by lakes, escarpments, and the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains. A variety of habitants, including grasslands, acacia woodlands, forests, wetland, and open water, sustains a wide range of mammals. The park’s 604 bird species are a remarkable tally for a protected area covering less than 2,000km2. Highlights include the launch cruise on the Kazinga channel, past resident hippos and water birds; the scenic24km Crater Drive winding around extinct volcano rims; chimpanzee tracking in the deep, forested kyambura Gorge; and the search for tree-climbing lions under the vast rift valley skies in the remote Ishasha sector.

At 6:00am, breakfast will be served. You will set off to Queen Elizabeth national park. However along the way you will have a stopover at the Equator line land mark where you will engage in an experiment that evidences the existence of the imaginary latitude line 0⁰. You will have a lunch stopover then embark on the journey to the park. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel, have dinner then rest.

DAY 3

At 6:00am, breakfast will be served. At 6:30am, you will engage in a morning game drive which will be for about 3-4hours while there you will stand a chance to have a close range with the wildlife species like the lions, buffalos, elephants among others. At 11:00am, you will engage in a boat ride, while there you will be able to sight the different bird species like the white egret, king fisher among others, the crocodiles, and hippos among others. You will then have lunch, have a little relaxation at the hotel then dinner.

DAY 4

MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK.

Uganda’s largest protected area is a 5,000km2 by Murchison falls national park and the contiguous Karuma and Bugungu wildlife reserves. The Nile traverses this wilderness, dividing grasslands roamed by the African big five on the northern bank from bush and forest inhabited by birds and primates on the southern side. The Centre piece is the river’s eruption through narrow gorge at Murchison falls; a spectacle that has captivated visitors since the explorer Samuel Baker added the feature to the map in 1864. The boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, past hippos and crocodiles, is an essential activity, as is a game drive across the grassy Buligi Peninsula to the banks of the river. The park also has much to interest to birders. The iconic shoebill inhabits swampy islands along the river while rare and restricted range’ Congo overspills can be checked off in the southerly Kaniyo Pabidi forest, visitors can also visit habituated chimpanzees at this site. 

At 6:00am, breakfast will be served. At 7:00am, set off to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have a lunch stopover (optional). Upon arrival, you will engage in hiking to the top of the falls where if lucky you will be able to sight the rainbow. You will then check into the hotel after the hike, have dinner then rest.

DAY 5

At 6:00am breakfast will be served. At 7:00am, you will engage in a morning game drive which will be for about 3-4hours. You will be able to sight the big five in the wildlife like the lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos and hippos among others in the vast landscapes of savanna grass lands with the tall palm trees that are randomly dispersed and the Albertine delta that is covered with thickets, all these with various antelopes and birds alongside the big five.

 You will then have lunch then engage in a boat ride to the bottom of the falls where you will sight the different bird species like the white egrets, king fisher among others. Later proceed back to the hotel for dinner and rest.

JINJA

Jinja is a town on the shore of Lake Victoria. The source of the Nile, at Coronation Park, is marked by a garden and a monument honoring British explorer John Hanning Speke. Owen Falls Dam and Bujagali Dam both span the Nile. Farther north on the river, Itanda Falls is known for its white-water rapids. East of Jinja, on Lake Victoria, Samuka Island is home to birdlife, including little egrets.

At 6:00am breakfast will be served, at 7:00am you set off to Jinja. You will have a stopover along the way for roadside bites which is optional and at owner’s cost. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel, have dinner then rest.

DAY 7

At 8:00am breakfast will be served. You will engage in a boat cruise to the source of the Nile, while there you will stand a chance to sight the bird species.  You will have lunch then engage in zip lining at the Nile, then later have dinner at the hotel and rest.

DAY 8

At 8:00am, breakfast will be served. You will engage in for rafting at the Nile which will be for half day. You will then have lunch, have the rest of the day at the hotel for relaxation then later have dinner.

DAY 9

At 8:00am, breakfast will be served, set off for Kampala which will be for about 3-4hours then check in to the hotel.

DAY 10

8:00am to 9:00am breakfast. Depending on the departure time, we can take you around for shopping among other things at owner’s cost and then drop you off at the Entebbe International Airport for your departure.
