UGANDA is a country in East Africa also known as the Pearl of Africa. It is bordered by Kenya in the East, South Sudan in the North, Democratic Republic of Congo in the West, Rwanda and Tanzania in the South. Uganda bares the source of River Nile, the longest river in the world. The climate and weather in Uganda are very conducive that it generally receives reliable rainfall in the years and temperature of 16˚c to 28˚c averagely throughout the year hence its major economic activity being Agriculture. The people of Uganda are very hospitable, friendly and welcoming. Uganda is endowed with various tourist attractions which include 10 national parks, 12 game reserves, lakes and rivers, culture, food, economic activities among others. Therefore, Uganda is proud to host you on its fertile soils

DAY 1

Arrival at Entebbe international airport, our guide will be ready to receive you at the airport and drop you off at the hotel.  After everyone has settled in, dinner will be served and after you will have a briefing of how the safari will run.

DAY 2

LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK.

Lake Mburo National park is the nearest national park in a Uganda from Kampala the capital city of Uganda. It is a perfect game for nature walks and game drive and birding. Its grasslands and seasonal wetlands are home to unique species like topi, eland, giraffes, zebra among others which are rarely seen in other national parks. Birdwatchers will find delight in the park’s 332 recorded bird species, particularly those in papyrus and acacia habitats. Beyond game drives, visitors can explore the park on mountain bikes, by boat, on foot, or even on horseback.

At 7:00am breakfast will be served. At 8:00am you will set off to Lake Mburo National park which is located towards southwestern region of Uganda.

However along the way, you will have a stopover at the Equator line land mark and you shall engage in an experiment that evidences the imaginary line Latitude 00. You shall proceed to the park, check into the hotel and then engage in a minor evening game drive and back to the hotel, have dinner then rest.

DAY 3

At 7:00am, breakfast will be served. At 8:00am, you will engage in a nature walk for about 2-3hours where you will have a close range encounter with the zebras and giraffes and various bird species among others. After the nature walk, you will draw back to hotel where you will have lunch and have the rest of the day at the hotel for relaxation.

DAY 4

BWINDI IMPENETRBLE NATIONAL PARK.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is one of Africa’s oldest forests. It has covered the margin of the Albertine Rift valley for some 25,000years. The 325km2 park is home to remarkable biodiversity, including 350 bird species, 310 butterflies, 200 trees, 51 reptiles, 88 moths and 120 mammals. Notable among them are several primates, including chimpanzees, L’Hoest’s monkey, and the star attraction: the mountain gorilla. With half of the global population of this endangered ape living in Bwindi, the park is the region’s primary gorilla tracking destination. Bwindi offers more than gorilla tracking; forest trails lead to scenic waterfalls and rift valley viewpoints, while community walks through local villages provide insights into the lives of the bakiga and batwa (Pygmy) peoples. Bwindi is also a top bird watching destination with many Albertine Rift valley endemics, particularly in the Ruhija sector.

At 7:00am, breakfast will be served. At 8:00am you will set off to Bwindi Impenetrable National park. Along the way, you shall have a lunch stopover. Upon arrival in the park, you will check into the hotel have dinner and rest.

DAY 5

At 6:00am, breakfast will be served. At 7:00am, you will set off to the park headquarters where you will have a briefing and be divided into various trekking groups. You will as well be entertained with a cultural show then proceed for gorilla trekking for about 3-4hours. While there, you will be able to encounter the fauna and flora of the forest that is the different wildlife species, birds among others inclusive of the endangered gorillas.  You will then draw back to the hotel where you’ll have lunch then later in the day, you’ll engage in the batwa community county where you’ll be able to walk around the community and experience the lifestyle of the bakiga and the batwa (Pygmys) and then head back to the hotel for dinner and resting.

DAY 6

QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Queen Elizabeth National Park contains evidence of a fabulous setting on the rift valley floor, surrounded by lakes, escarpments, and the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains. A variety of habitants, including grasslands, acacia woodlands, forests, wetland, and open water, sustains a wide range of mammals. The park’s 604 bird species are a remarkable tally for a protected area covering less than 2,000km2. Highlights include the launch cruise on the Kazinga channel, past resident hippos and water birds; the scenic24km Crater Drive winding around extinct volcano rims; chimpanzee tracking in the deep, forested kyambura Gorge; and the search for tree-climbing lions under the vast rift valley skies in the remote Ishasha sector.

At 7:00am, breakfast will be served. At 8:00am, set off to Queen Elizabeth National park. Along the way, you will have a stopover which will be for lunch (optional) then you proceed to the park. Upon arrival, you will check into the hotel, have dinner then rest.

DAY 7

At 6:00am, breakfast will be served. At 8:00am, you will engage in an early morning game drive, here you shall stand a chance to sight lions, elephants, buffalo, hippo and antelopes among others. At 12:00pm, you will have lunch while in the park and at 2:00pm engage in a boat ride at the kazinga channel. You will be able to encounter the big monitor lizards, crocodile, hippos among others, some bird species like the king fisher, fish eagles, white egrets among others. Later you will draw back to the hotel for a little relaxation and later have dinner.

DAY 8

KIBALE NATIONAL PARK.

Kibale national park is the largest forested park, 795km2 in area. It is the best known for the number and variety of resident primates. An impressive list of 16 primate species includes Uganda’s largest population of chimpanzees, and estimated 1450. Habituated groups at kanyanchu river camp, other notable primates are the nocturnal bush baby and potto ( these can encountered during guided night walks in the forest); the L’Hoest’s monkey (endemic to the Albertine Rift region) ; East Africa’s largest population of the threatened red colobus monkey; and Uganda’s only endemic monkey, the Uganda mangabey ( lophocebus ugandae). Kibale is a popular destination for birders. A list of 335 forest, grassland and swamp species include 4 birds endemic to Kibale and a number of central African ‘specials’ at  the eastern limit of their range. These can be sought on the forest trails at kanyanchu and sebitoli tourism sites and in the community run Bigodi wetland sanctuary on the edge of the park near kanyanchu.

At 7:00am, breakfast will be served. At 8:00am, set off to Kibale National park. Upon arrival, you will check into the hotel and have lunch and later at 2:00pm you engage in a nature walk through the Bigodi wetland where you will encounter bird species and vegetation types among others. Later you will  check in to the hotel and have dinner the rest.

DAY 9

At exactly 6:00am, breakfast will be served. At 7:00am, you shall depart to kibale national park headquarters where you’ll be briefed and divided among various groups then set off for chimpanzee trekking. While there you will stand a chance to encounter or sight the different wildlife species, birds and the flora. After trekking, you will engage in a boat ride where you will be able to sight some birds then head back to the hotel for lunch and relaxation.

DAY 10

At 7:00am Breakfast, 8:00am you shall then set off to Kampala. Enroute to Kampala you will have a lunch stopover and then proceed to the hotel where you will have dinner and rest.

Activities: chimpanzee trekking and nature walk in bigodi wetland.

DAY 11

Breakfast will be served at 8:00am. Depending on the departure time, we can take you around for shopping among other things which will be at owner cost and then drop you off to the Entebbe international Airport.
