UGANDA is a country in East Africa also known as the Pearl of Africa. It is bordered by Kenya in the East, South Sudan in the North, Democratic Republic of Congo in the West, Rwanda and Tanzania in the South. Uganda bares the source of River Nile, the longest river in the world. The climate and weather in Uganda are very conducive that it generally receives reliable rainfall in the years and temperature of 16˚c to 28˚c averagely throughout the year hence its major economic activity being Agriculture. The people of Uganda are very hospitable, friendly and welcoming. Uganda is endowed with various tourist attractions which include 10 national parks, 12 game reserves, lakes and rivers, culture, food, economic activities among others. Therefore, Uganda is proud to host you on its fertile soils.
DAY 1
Arrival in the country at Entebbe International Airport, our guide will be to receive you at the airport and drop you off at the hotel where you will have dinner. After everyone has settled in, you will be taken through on how the safari will be.

DAY 2
MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
This national park was formally called Kabalega National Park and was named Murchison falls by Sir Samuel Baker after the visit of the geologist Roderick Murchison making it the oldest park in Uganda. It is located towards the Northern region of Uganda about 250km from Kampala. The park covers an area of 3840sq kilometers hence being the largest park in Uganda. The park bares the Mighty Murchison falls which are the most powerful waterfalls in the world, the Nile squeezes through an 8m wide gorge and plunges with a thunderous roar into the “Devil’s Cauldron” creating a trademark rainbow. Murchison falls National Park is also referred to as the big 5 which means Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, hippos and Giraffes among other mammals. The park is also endowed with over 500 Bird Species like the shoebill, white crested turaco among others, 51 reptiles and 51 amphibians.
Activities to be done:
- At 6:00am, breakfast will be served then set off to Murchison falls National Park (drive time 5-6hours) for about 300km.
Enroute to Murchison falls; we shall visit the Zziwa Rhino sanctuary where you will engage in a nature walk to sight the rhinos, antelopes, warthogs among othes. (Activity takes 1-2hours).
Zziwa rhino sanctuary is where you sight the southern white rhinoceros in Uganda. In 2010 6 rhinos were imported from Kenya and South Africa and as of June 2024 the sanctuary was a home of 41 rhinos. The sanctuary also is a home of various animals including water bucks, Pumba and various antelopes among others.
- You will proceed to Murchison falls National Park (drive time is about 1-2 hours).
- After checking in the park, you will go through Budongo forest to sight the big baboon families that are endangered under the canopy of the tropical forests of Budongo towards the national park.
- You will then proceed through the park for a minor evening game drive towards the hotel.
- Check-in at the hotel is estimated at about 7:00pm where dinner will be served.
DAY 3
- At 6:00am, breakfast will be served as well as handed your lunch pack and then set off for game drive at 7:00am.
- In the game drive you will encounter the big 5 that is the lion, elephant, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos among others including various bird species. These animals stay in the savannah grass lands with the scattered palm trees and thickets. You will have the game drive for about 4 – 5 hours.
- After Lunch, you will engage in a Boat ride to the bottom of Murchison falls, as you encounter the reptiles that is the crocodile, big monitor lizards among others including birds like the king fishers among others.
- After the boat ride, you will then proceed back to the hotel for a little relaxation then dinner will be served.
DAY 4
- Early morning breakfast at 6am
- At 7:00am, you will engage in hiking to the top of the falls where you stand a chance to sight the magnificent and roaring mighty Murchison falls, and where lucky you will be able to witness the rainbow.
- At 12:00pm, you will have lunch then later proceed for a community encounter where you will be able to encounter people and their lifestyle.
- After the community encounter, you will set off to Kibale National Park (drive time is 5-6 hours).
- At about 7-8pm we shall arrive at the hotel.
- Check-in and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 5
Kibale National Park
Kibale National Park premier attraction is the Primate Walk, offering the opportunity to seek out thirteen different primate species, with a variety of diurnal monkeys frequently observed. Kibale is a biologically rich region that also hosts over 120 other mammal species, including baboons, elephants, and antelopes. The forest is home to approximately 370 bird species, including 23 Albertine Rift endemics such as Nahan’s francolin, Cassin’s spine tail, blue-headed bee-eater, and lowland masked apalis. However, the true highlights of this walk are the chimpanzees. The park is located in the Western region of Uganda about 300km from Kampala or Murchison falls National Park.
- Early morning breakfast at 6am.
- At 6:40am, you will head out to the briefing center where you will be briefed about the different trekking routes.
- At 9:00am, you will then engage in chimpanzee trekking which will be for about 2-3hours. while there you will be able to sight the chimpanzee families, bird species and other species among others.
- After trekking, you will then engage in a nature walk where you will be able to experience the fauna and flora in the park.
- You will then proceed back to the hotel where you will have dinner.
DAY 6
- At 6:00am, breakfast will be served as well as you will be handed your lunch park.
- At 7:00am, you engage in a morning game drive where you will stand a chance to sight the wildlife species like the lions, giraffes, zebras among others.
- After the game drive, you will then engage in a boat ride where you will stand a chance to encounter the crocodiles, monitor lizards, hippos among others.
- You will then proceed back to the hotel after the boat ride for rest and later dinner will be served.

DAY 7
SEMULIKI NATIONAL PARK
Semuliki national park is a prime destination for bird enthusiasts spanning 220km2 . It is located beyond the Rwenzori Mountains in the Albertine rift valley; it safeguards one of the few ecosystems that survived the ice age. Semuliki national park connects with the Congo guinea biome, showcasing the easternmost reaches of Congo’s ancient ituri forest. Semuliki national park boasts an impressive list of 441 bird species, including 216 forest birds and 80 central African species rarely seen elsewhere in East Africa. Notable birds include the black dwarf hornbill, shining blue kingfisher, nkulengu rail, and the yellow-throated nicator. Primatologists will also be thrilled, as 15 primate species can be found within 6km from the park’s primeval hot springs near Sempaya.
- At 6:00am, breakfast will be served; you will then set off to Semuliki National Park which will be for about 3-4 hours.
- You will then have a lunch stopover (optional).
- Upon arrival in the park, you will engage in a minor game drive through the park to the hotel and also have a nature walk.
- While at the hotel, you will check into the hotel where you will have dinner.
DAY 8
- Early morning breakfast will be served.
- You will then engage in a morning game drive where you will be able to encounter the different wildlife species like the lions, elephants, buffalos, antelopes among others.
- You will be able to sight the white and black colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys among others.
- You will then engage in a nature walk and later proceed back to the hotel for dinner and some refreshments.
- You will then set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
- Check in to the hotel.

DAY 9
QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Queen Elizabeth National Park contains evidence of a fabulous setting on the rift valley floor, surrounded by lakes, escarpments, and the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains. A variety of habitants, including grasslands, acacia woodlands, forests, wetland, and open water, sustains a wide range of mammals. The park’s 604 bird species are a remarkable tally for a protected area covering less than 2,000km2. Highlights include the launch cruise on the Kazinga channel, past resident hippos and water birds; the scenic24km Crater Drive winding around extinct volcano rims; chimpanzee tracking in the deep, forested kyambura Gorge; and the search for tree-climbing lions under the vast rift valley skies in the remote Ishasha sector.
- At 6:00am, breakfast will be served.
- You will then engage in a morning game drive where you will be able to encounter the different wildlife species and their inhabitants like the lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards among others.
- After the game drive, you will have lunch.
- After lunch, you will engage in a boat ride at the Kazinga channel while there you will stand a chance to sight the different wildlife species that keep in the water like the crocodiles, hippos, and monitor lizards among others.
- You will then draw back to the hotel then later dinner.
DAY 10
- Early morning breakfast at 6:00am.
- You will set off to the center where you will be briefed and taken through chimpanzee trekking.
- You will then engage in chimpanzee trekking where you will be able to have a close encounter with the chimpanzees.
- You will then set off to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
- Upon arrival, you will check into the hotel then rest.

DAY 11
BWINDI IMPENATRABLE NATIONAL PARK
This a national park in south western Uganda. It is situated in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest on the edge of the Albertine rift. The park is composed of 124sq miles of both low land and montane forest. The park provides a habitat for 120 species of Mammals, 350 bird species and 310 butterfly species, 27 frog species among many other endangered species. This is the home of half of the world’s mountain Gorillas, columbous monkeys, hornbills and turacos.
- Early morning Breakfast at 6am.
- 7:00am you will set off to the briefing center where you will be, grouped, allocated to the trekking points and briefed before the Trekking.
- 9:00am you will drive to the starting point of the trekking which will take about 3-4 hours while you are encountering and experiencing the beautiful sceneries of the hills and forests of Bwindi that shelter the gorillas. While trekking you will be guided and led by the game rangers and they will help you take photos with the Gorillas among other attractions sighted while trekking like the birds, vegetation, and the rolling hills among others.
- At about 1:00pm you will drive back to the hotel for Lunch and relaxing and then in the afternoon we shall engage in to the Batwa community encounter where you will engage in various local activities like dancing and entertainment from the Batwa community.
- Batwa pygmies where formerly known as the forest keepers and they are known to have lived in the equatorial forest for over 60,000 years and more. The Batwa were known to survive on hunting small game, fruits and vegetable gathering from within the Bwindi Forest. They lived in small grass and leaves thatched huts which are not permanent until when the missionaries dedicated themselves to saving them by purchasing land and established programs to improve the conditions of the tribe hence the Batwa cultural experience to educated their children and share the amazing heritage and traditions to the world. (If you can carry simple items to donate during the Batwa cultural experience, that would put a big smile on their faces) optional.
- You will then drive back to the hotel to rest, refresh and have dinner.
DAY 12
- At 6:00am, breakfast will be served.
- You will engage in an early morning game drive where you will stand a chance to have a close encounter with the wildlife species and other primates.
- You will the set off to Lake Bunyonyi.
- Up on arrival you ill check into the hotel.

DAY 13
LAKE BUNYONYI
Lake Bunyonyi, meaning “place of many little birds,” is a unique freshwater lake in southwestern Uganda, known for its 29 islands and surrounding terraced hills. Formed over 10,000 years ago by a lava flow blocking a river, it’s a geological wonder and a popular tourist destination, offering a blend of natural beauty and cultural experiences. Lake Bunyonyi Located in the Kigezi highlands, it’s one of the highest and largest lakes in the region. The lake is about 22 km long and 6 km at its widest point. It is the deepest lake in Uganda, with depths ranging from 44m to a maximum of 900m, making it the second deepest in Africa after Lake Tanganyika. Lake Bunyonyi has seen a rise in tourism, with various accommodation facilities and activities. It’s home to various other animals, including otters, frogs, fish, and monkeys. Popular activities include swimming, boat tours, nature walks, and interacting with the local communities.
- At 6:00am, breakfast will be served.
- At 7:00am, you engage in nature walks where you will be able to sight the different wildlife species.
- You then engage in a boat ride along the beautiful lake bunyonyi where you will be able to sight the crocodile, hippos, and different bird species among others.
- After the boat ride, you will set off to Kampala.
- Upon arrival you will check into the hotel then have dinner.

- Breakfast at 8:00.
- Check out of the hotel and drop off to the airport depending on the departure time.
