UGANDA is a country in East Africa also known as the Pearl of Africa. It is bordered by Kenya in the East, South Sudan in the North, Democratic Republic of Congo in the West, Rwanda and Tanzania in the South. Uganda bares the source of River Nile, the longest river in the world. The climate and weather in Uganda are very conducive that it generally receives reliable rainfall in the years and temperature of 16˚c to 28˚c averagely throughout the year hence its major economic activity being Agriculture. The people of Uganda are very hospitable, friendly and welcoming. Uganda is endowed with various tourist attractions which include 10 national parks, 12 game reserves, lakes and rivers, culture, food, economic activities among others. Therefore, Uganda is proud to host you on its fertile soils.

DAY 1

Arrival in the country at Entebbe International Airport, our guide will be ready to receive you and transfer you to the hotel for a night stay. After everyone has settled in, you will be briefed on how the safari will be executed.

DAY 2

LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK

Lake Mburo National park is the nearest national park in a Uganda from Kampala the capital city of Uganda. It is a perfect game for nature walks and game drive and birding. Its grasslands and seasonal wetlands are home to unique species like topi, eland, giraffes, and zebra among others which are rarely seen in other national parks. Birdwatchers will find delight in the park’s 332 recorded bird species, particularly those in papyrus and acacia habitats. Beyond game drives, visitors can explore the park on mountain bikes, by boat, on foot, or even on horseback.

At 6:00am, breakfast will be served. At 7:00am, you will join the driver to set off to Lake Mburo National Park. You will make a stopover at the Equator line where you will experience the existence of the Latitude 00 you will have another stopover at the Kitagata Hot springs where you also carry out an egg boiling experiments. Upon arrival in the park, you check into the hotel where you have dinner the rest.

DAY 3

QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Queen Elizabeth Natianal Park contains evidence of a fabulous setting on the rift valley floor, surrounded by lakes, escarpments, and the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains. A variety of habitants, including grasslands, acacia woodlands, forests, wetland, and open water, sustains a wide range of mammals. The park’s 604 bird species are a remarkable tally for a protected area covering less than 2,000km2. Highlights include the launch cruise on the Kazinga channel, past resident hippos and water birds; the scenic24km Crater Drive winding around extinct volcano rims; chimpanzee tracking in the deep, forested kyambura Gorge; and the search for tree-climbing lions under the vast rift valley skies in the remote Ishasha sector.

At 6:00am, breakfast will be served. At 7:00am, you will set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival you will check into the hotel where you will have dinner then rest.

DAY 4

At 6:00am, breakfast will be served. At 7:00am, you will then set off to engage in a game drive where you will stand a chance to have a close range with the different wildlife species like lions, elephants, buffalos among others. You will then have lunch and then later engage in a boat ride along the Kazinga channel where you will stand chance to sight the water inhabitants like the big monitor lizards, crocodiles, hippos among others. After the boat ride, you will then set off to Kibale National Park, upon arrival you will check into the hotel where you will have dinner then rest.

DAY 5

Kibale National Park

Kibale National Park premier attraction is the Primate Walk, offering the opportunity to seek out thirteen different primate species, with a variety of diurnal monkeys frequently observed. Kibale is a biologically rich region that also hosts over 120 other mammal species, including baboons, elephants, and antelopes. The forest is home to approximately 370 bird species, including 23 Albertine Rift endemics such as Nahan’s francolin, Cassin’s spine tail, blue-headed bee-eater, and lowland masked apalis. However, the true highlights of this walk are the chimpanzees. The park is located in the Western region of Uganda about 300km from Kampala or Murchison falls National Park.

At 6:00am, breakfast will be served. At 7:00am, you will set off to the park headquarters where you will be briefed on how the trekking will be conducted. You will then proceed to engage in chimpanzee trekking where you will have a close range with the chimpanzees and their lifestyle. After trekking, you will draw back to the hotel where you will have lunch and then have the rest of the day to yourselves at the hotel.

DAY 6

At 6:00am, you will set off to Muhoma falls where you will be able to sight the beautiful roar falling down of the falls, after you will embark on your journey back to Kampala. Upon arrival, you will check into the hotel where you will have dinner then rest.

DAY 7

Breakfast at 8:00am, check out of the hotel and drop off to the airport depending on the departure time.
